Puzzle Springs Cook-Off（13-18岁）

This year, the Puzzle Springs Cook-Off at Mo’s Diner was really exciting. Each person had only twenty minutes to make one dish, and Jones decided the winner. Before the cooking started, everyone talked about what they were going to make. Clarence said, “I’m going to bake banana bread in the oven. I need bananas, sugar, eggs and flour.”

“I’m going to fry some fish,” said Elise. “You sprinkle on some salt and pepper, then add some lemon juice.” Tom said, “Cheesy chicken! It’s just cheese on top of chicken. You grill it on the barbecue.”

“I’m going to make a vegetable curry,” said Clora. “I’ll use lots ofchili peppers to make it spicy.”
