Englishpod每一期都会有固定的模式，首先是一分钟左右的一小段情景对话，都是非常幽默搞笑的现场声音，跟我们熟悉的那些枯燥的英语会话书完全不同，然后是10分钟的讲解录音，由一男一女两位外籍主播针对对话中的用法和语言难点进行细致的讲解和举例，最后是一段5分钟的录音，主要是复习词汇和用法。EP的精华就在于每期10分钟的讲解录音和1分钟的情景对话，这点做的比ESLpod好太多了，每期的课文录音都单独拿出来，供大家反复仔细的听和模仿，讲解录音10分钟也很短，每天都可以听1-2遍作为泛听来学习难点和用法，而且两位外教的教学功底非常扎实，经验也很丰富。
