The sky turned dark.

天空黑了下来。

It began to rain.

开始下雨了。

Grug hurried inside...

瓜哥急匆匆的赶回家……

...to sit in front of his warm cosy fire.

……坐在他的温暖舒适的火堆旁。

When the rain stopped and the sun came out.

雨停了，太阳出来了。

Grug sloshed through the wet grass.

瓜哥“沙沙沙”地穿过还湿着的草丛。

He looked up and was surprised to see

他抬起头,惊讶地看到

beautiful coloured stripes across the sky.

美丽的彩色条纹划过天空。

Grug went for a closer look...

瓜哥想凑近了仔细地看......

...but the stripes moved away.

......但条纹越来越远。

He tried sneaking up on them.

他试着偷偷靠近他们。

He tried running after them...

他试着追在他们后面跑…

...but the stripes moved even further away.

…但是条纹移动得更远了。

Then Grug knew what he could do.

接下来，瓜哥知道该怎么做了。

He worked hard sawing,hammering...

他开始使劲地锯啊,捶啊……

...and painting.

…然后在木板上画。

At last he had made...

最后他终于完成了...

...his very own rainbow!

...只属于他自己的彩虹！
