Ihail from the district of Huangpu located in the megacity of Shanghai. From here, I can 

describe abotanical and historical attraction, the "Yuyuan Garden" which is my go-to place 

every semestral break or when I want to find an oasis of calm, away from myhustles and 

bustles. I go here with my college friendsevery now and then to chat, to roam around and 

simply, to hang out. As far as I know, this garden was built a hundred years ago, perhaps, 

during the Ming Dynasty. It is open for public viewing and it isfree of charge, so locals and 

even tourists can stroll around the area. It is an enchanting,well-maintained garden in which 

we can find a lot ofornamentals, rare trees, and plants, all over the vicinity, perfect for 

nature-loving people like me. Even the pathways are full of upright grass. The lights and 

giant lanterns during festivals and holidays make this garden moreinviting, not to mention 

there are many park benches and restaurants nearby where people can rest, eat, and chill 

out.
