朝辞白帝彩云间，千里江陵一日还。

两岸猿声啼不住，轻舟已过万重山。

Leaving at dawn, the town was crowned with clouds,

A thousand miles in a day, I have sailed.

Apes on the riverbank were laughing loud;

Thousands of hills have passed by, when I am looking back.
