Sample dialogue when dealing with enquiries and bargaining in the booth

A: Your laptop is expensive. How is it better than your competitors’? 

B: Compared with other competing products, ours is lighter and smaller,  yet is most advanced, reliable and user-friendly. It employs the most advanced technology. It is a lot faster and better fine-tuned than others on the market. What’s more, it’s designed to conserve energy and it looks cute and fashionable, which appeals to lots of young people. 

A: Sounds impressive. How long has it been on the market?
 
B: It has been on the market for a couple of months, and it sells well. I think no other product is more competitive than ours. 

A: But can you make it cheaper?

B: To a certain extent, our price depends on how large your order is.

A: We need 100 this year, but perhaps we’ll purchase more next year.

B: If you could make an order at the exhibition, we will give a 10 percent discount.

A: What about a 20 percent discount?

B: Let’s split the difference, a 15 percent discount. 


A: Deal.
