Mom: Look at the two dresses.

The Emperor's New Clothes

Once upon a time, there was an emperor who only cared about clothes.
Other emperors cared about building bigger castles and larger kingdoms, but this emperor thought only about clothes.

One day, two swindlers came to the emperor and said,“We made a 的special cloth for you.
It's special because only smart people can see it."

“I must have a robe made from this special cloth,” said the emperor.
“Then I can tell who is smart and who is not!
Please make it for me now!”

When the emperor went to see the new robe, he saw nothing!
“Oh, no!I must be stupid!” he thought.
The emperor didn't want people to clever pretended to do think that he was stupid,
so he pretended to see the robe.
He said to the swindlers,“This is prettier than all my other robes. Put it on me.”

The swindlers pretended to put the robe on him, and the emperor walked through the town.
Everyone saw only underwear and thought,“I am stupid!"
So everyone pretended and shouted,“What a beautiful robe!”

Finally, a young boy said,“He isn't wearing anything at all!”
The emperor and all the people realized they all were foolish.
