Product No. 8592 – a product made of aged tea leaves with a purple seal

Product No. 8592, which was successfully developed in 1985 using thicker and older tea leaves, is a representative of thick, strong and twisted large tea leaves. While it was being exclusively supplied to Nam Tin Trade, the company required that the product bear a purple seal of the Chinese character “” (Tian) on its cotton paper wrapping. Since then, the product became known by Pu’er tea lovers as “Tian Cake” or “Purple Tian Cake.” Similar to Product No.8582, this product is made of relatively mature tea leaves and features larger spaces in between the leaves. It ages fast and is much loved by consumers.

Product features:

Full and thick, the tea cake has a surface showing a little golden fuzz. The tea soup appears red and bright, gives off an obvious aroma of wood, and tastes mild and sweet. The brewed tea leaves are reddish brown. The leaves are thick, aged and strong.

Product No.7592 – A product with new flavors produced by old tea stems

Developed in 1999, Product No.7592 inherited and optimized the 1975 formula by blending old tea stems into it. Because the tea stem which is rich in amino acids and vitaminsis the organ transporting nutrients to the fresh leaves, the tea soup is made very appealing to tea drinkers due to its sweet and refreshing flavor and red, bright and clear color. Tea stems are rarely used in tea products despite their unique qualities. The 7592 formula contains both mature tea leaves and a certain proportion of tea stems that make the tea palatable. The tea factory later made it a routine to collect tea stems every year and use them in 7592 products.

Product features:

The tea soup appears red, bright and transparent, with strong and pleasant fragrance of wood and aged tea leaves. It tastes sweet, mellow and smooth, and many tea stems remain in the bottom of the teacup after the soup is consumed.
