As the saying goes, there are no ugly women, only lazy ones. Yet not everybody has that large amount of time or interest to spend on appearance maintenance or doing makeup, not to mention that it will be even harder to apply makeup if the foundation of the skin condition is not appealing from the beginning. Therefore, what else can we do to appear more attractive? Well, try to avoid these 10 scientifically proven habits that can make you appear less adorable.


No. 1: Sleep deprivation. Suppose you take pictures of people who'd slept for at least eight hours the night before and people who hadn't slept in 36 hours. Sleep-deprived people would look less healthy and less attractive. They appeared to have more hanging eyelids, red eyes, dark circles under the eyes, and pale skin and even looked sadder.


No. 2: Stress. A 2013 study by researchers in Finland, South Africa, the UK, Latvia, and Estonia found that Latvian women with high levels of the stress hormone cortisol were perceived by heterosexual men in Latvia as less attractive. The researchers say it's possible that's because low cortisol (and lower stress) levels indicate health and fertility.


No. 3: Dishonesty. If you're tempted to lie to make yourself seem hotter, don't.  Research suggests that dishonesty is a major turn-off for both men and women. Honesty was the only trait out of the three to have a substantial effect on ratings of attractiveness and likability. A pure heart always makes you more beautiful.


No. 4: Heavy smoking. Smoking causes facial wrinkles and yellowing teeth which makes you less attractive. It does not only harm your health but also can affect your personal life by lessening your romance. Cigarette smoking may lead to mouth, lung, and liver cancer.


No. 5. Heavy drinking. Excessive use of alcohol can damage your health and can create many health problems. It may lead to different types of cancer.


No. 6: Lack of exercise. Exercising should be a part of our daily life. It helps to boost energy, fight diseases, repair health, and keeps you and your skin glowing and fresh. It removes toxins and increases blood circulation in the body. Apart from this, it decreases the risks of any diseases and keeps you looking younger.


No. 7: Drinking too much coffee. Taking too much coffee dehydrates the skin, causes dark circles, and makes you look older. Try to reduce the quantity of your coffee and keep yourself hydrated.


No. 8: Skipping breakfast. This habit will affect metabolism in a negative manner that will ultimately have a bad impact on the future.

No. 9: Eating too much junk food. Oily and high-sugar food gradually makes a person addicted, which not only makes you fat but also affects your overall health. The junk food also affects the skin and slowly makes you appear less attractive.


No. 10: Negative mindset. Negative thoughts can contribute to problems such as social anxiety, depression, stress, and low self-esteem, and these types of emotions will affect your skin, health, and your overall immunity.


These were some everyday bad habits which could be difficult to resist. But forming good habits to replace them won't be as hard as learning to do makeup. Start working on it today and live a healthy life.
