We students should do housework

Last weekend, my mother was ill and nobody could do housework. After I got

up, I made my bed and folded my clothes. Then I cleaned my room. When it was

mid-day, I made lunch and after lunch I washed the dishes. Then I swept the floor and

took out the rubbish. My mother was very happy and I was happy, too. I think

children should do some housework at home. It can develop our independence. And it

can teach us how to take care of ourselves. Doing housework can also help us

understand the meaning of fairness and help us relax. The earlier we learn to be

independent, the better it is for our future
