Part I Writing(30 minutes)
Directions: Suppose you are going to write a proposal to your school library for improving its service. You are to write about its current problems and possible solutions to these problems. You

Part Two 语篇分析与背诵(同一内容,这篇要短点,书信格式,供对比学习)
(写作时,一般隔行分三段,条理清楚,看个人临场发挥,全文可以7-11句话)
开头就是一句话,简单句;结尾也是一句话,不过是复合句。I believe是主句,students can definitely benefit ……and enjoy…..是宾语从句, 有两个并列谓语

Part Three 写作或翻译时,注意英语“形合”,汉语“意合”的思维特点。
1.英语表达注重“形合”,以形显意,句子结构严谨,主谓长句居多。所以在英语写作,汉语翻译英语时,要培养写出,找出英语主语,谓语,主干结构的能力,熟练使用句子类型“简单句”,“并列句”,“复合句”来化意为形。
2.熟悉英语基础语法,时态,各种从句,倒转句,习惯搭配,通过词汇,语法手段的显性衔接,把松散汉语思维转化成逻辑紧凑,但缺乏弹性的语篇整体。
4.汉语重“意合”,以意驭形,句子结构松散,但“形散神不散”。虽有主语谓语,不明显,基本被意思掩盖,逻辑关系大部分是隐藏的。喜欢用主动结构,前置修饰。时间顺序在汉语思维中很重要。而汉翻英的关键在于“化”,吃透汉语原文整体 “内在”,“隐藏”逻辑关系之后,用英语思维习惯来翻译。
5.汉翻英时,汉语原句的主谓未必就是英语的主谓结构,影响英语理解时,要适当调整。将汉语“意合”语言翻译成英语“形合”语言时,必须写出短句或长句的主语,谓语,即英语句子的主干。概括,笼统的意思用主谓结构先说,先总后分。
6.其他相关意思,次要部分的扩展,思维逻辑关系可以在主干结构的框架下,通常是后置修饰,介词短语,分词短语,动词不定式或从句来实现,有时也会把修饰语放前。
