1. What do you usually do on yourbirthday?
Since I’m notused to lavish(浪费)birthday celebrations, my family and I just havesimple dinner together. I've always liked the concept of a straightforward candle-lit(烛光照明)supper with a minimalist(最小的)cake. Additionally, it is afamily custom for each celebrant to sing a song in honor of her wonderful natalday. So, after a delightful supper with my family on my birthday, I blissfully(幸福的)sing my well-liked(受欢迎的)song.
2. What did you do on your birthdaywhen you were young?
As far backas grade four, I can recall always having a sleepover(过夜)because I liked the idea ofhanging out with a handful of(少量的)my favorite friends while wearing pajamas at home.My parents have always been in favor of this because it allows them to get to know myclassmates better. My memory of the moment my classmates surprised me bydressing in the same pajamas with my face printed on them is still vivid(记忆犹新). The remainder of the day was spent doing frivolous(无关紧要的)things like doing crafts, playinggames, having pillow fights, eating pizza, and watching movies. In conclusion, for as long as I can remember, a pajama party was what we usually do with myclassmates on my birthday when I was little.
3. Do you think it is important for youto celebrate your birthday?
It goeswithout saying that we should commemorate(纪念,庆祝)our birthdays since they serve as a reminder of thetrip we took to arrive at this thing we call life. While they serve as aconstant reminder that I am aging(长大,变老), they also demonstrate(展示)how far I have come in my entirelife. Fundamentally, when I commemorate my birthday, I respect both the length of mylife(生命长度)and theprogress I made the previous years. To sum it up, my birthday is obviously a noteworthy(值得注意的)occasion that deserves to becelebrated.
4. Whose birthday do you think is themost important to celebrate in China?
In my ownopinion, I would agree that older people's birthdays are essential since wevalue Filial piety. There is a Chinese adage, filial piety is the first of allvirtues(百善孝为先). I will naturally prioritize the elderly in such aculture. On top of that, Many elderly people experience loneliness because theylack employment and are only focused on their families. Yet young people are always busy withtheir own work. So the elders' birthday is a very good time for family reunionand it stands to reason that birthdaysare the most significant events for the aged.
