仁者不忧 勇者不惧

子曰：“君子道者三，我无能焉：仁者不忧，知者不惑，勇者不惧。”子贡曰：“夫子自道也。”

孔子说：“君子所循的三个方面，我都没能做到：仁德的人不忧愁，智慧的人不迷惑，勇敢的人不惧怕。”子贡说道：“是老师对自己的描述。”

TheMaster said: “ The way of the superior man is threefold, but I am not equal toit. Virtuous , he is free from anxieties; wise, he is free from perplexities;bold, he is free from fear. Tsze-kung said: “ Master, that is what you yourselfsay.”

辜鸿铭：

Confuciusonce remarked: “ A wise and good man may be known in three ways which I am notable to show in my own person.  As amoral man he is free from anxiety; as a man of understanding he is free fromdoubt; and  as a man of courage he isfree from fear.”

Adisciple who heard what Confucius said， then remarked，“ that is only what you see of yourself， Sir,.”
