Here's a twin and here's his brother.

“I am Sid.”

“I am Dan.”

And, you know, it's such a shame:

One twin always gets the blame for or the things the other did.

Sid is sad. Dan is mad.
Sid 很难过。Dan 也很生气。
"Sid, I've had enough," says Dan.
Dan 说：“Sid，我已经受够了！”
"Me too, " says Sid.
Sid 说， “我也是，”
"We need a plan. All these mix-ups are too bad."

Sid is sad. Sid是悲伤的。
Dan is mad. Dan是生气的。
The twins think hard.

How can they show which one is which, so people know?

They buy some paint, take off the lid...
于是他们买了一些颜料，打开了盖子……
“Tip it, Dan!”
“倒在我身上，Dan！”
“Tip it, Sid!”
“帮我倒上，Sid！”
They paint each other red and green.
他们互相给对方涂上了红色和绿色。
Now the difference can be seen.

It all works well until , one day, A friend arrives from far away.

One morning they go out to play

And Pip picks up the hose to spray...
