829-Tell yourself a positive story

No matter how much emotion and feeling you may have, or how much hurt you may have, life has to go on. I can't stand in the past and bathe in what was wrong. 

无论你有多么的多愁善感，或者你受到过多少伤害，生活都要继续。我不能停留在过去，沉溺于错误之中。

If you want to make a change, you have to change your vision of who you are. You have to begin telling yourself a different narrative, and the narrative you tell yourself about yourself is everything. 

如果你想做出改变，你就要改变对自己的看法。你要给自己准备一个与之前完全不同的故事，你给自己所讲的这个故事决定了一切。

And if you tell yourself that you're a scared, under-educated kid whose family has never accomplished anything, let me tell you what you will become - a scared, under-educated kid never accomplishes anything, because that's what you believe. You tell yourself that story enough, and it will become real. 

如果你告诉自己，你是一个胆小的、受教育程度低的孩子，而且你的家庭也一无所成，那么我敢说，你会是一个胆小的、受教育程度低的，并且也将一事无成的人。因为这就是你所相信的故事，并且你反复给自己讲述这个故事，那它就会逐渐变成现实。
