For your child to grow taller, it is best to catch the golden sleep time by falling asleep already at 20:30 and getting up after 7:00am. Parents are advised to try to do their bedtime before 20:00 to create a sleep-friendly environment for their children.
However, most families today fail to do this, for example by unconsciously neglecting their children's sleep when their schoolwork conflicts with their sleep schedule, watching TV or playing games for their children before bedtime, and so on.
Even some parents themselves do not adopt a strict and regular routine and do not properly develop their children's biological sleep cycles.
Adequate sleep is a lifelong benefit to children, and the amount of sleep required varies between individuals of different ages.
As a general rule, children aged 3-10 should ensure that they get at least 10 hours of sleep a day, and a minimum of 9 hours a day when they reach junior school. Lack of sleep can affect not only growth and development, but can be harmful in many other ways.
