James Corden: How much do you stay in touch?

Lisa Kudrow: yeah, no, we stay in touch, for sure. Maybe not everyday. But you know, we have such a bond from having done this show, and forged this very tight relationship that, anytime you text or call someone, they're going to pick up. They'll be there.

James Corden: Matthew, who doesn't pick up?

Matthew Perry: I don't hear from anyone. 

James Corden: This has been an emotional day for all of you! How are you feeling to be together, the six of you, right now?

Jenifer Aniston: It's been so fantastic and exciting. And we've literally just sort of slipped right back, as we usually do. 

James Corden: David,How have you found this time?

David Schwimmer: Really emotional, really fun, actually. I felt, after the initial shock, of just being in the same room together, I think we all just fell right into our same old kind of joking around, like we are a family. And it really was...

Jenifer Aniston: Regressed. 

David Schwimmer: We're regressed, yeah, back to 20s. 

David Crane(co-creator, excutive producer): Marta and I spent our 20s living in New York. We had a tight circle of friends. 

Marta Kauffman(co-creator, writer): There we were, in our 20s in New York, trying to make a living and find love. 

David Crane(co-creator, excutive producer): And we thought, that could be a show. 

Marta Kauffman(co-creator, writer): We drew on relatives of ours and friends of ours, and names were, we named Chandler after a friend of mine. I mean, we definitely pulled from our lives. 

David Crane(co-creator, excutive producer):  We really were intrigued with the idea of doing a true ensemble. It's not like there's a lead and they have friends. No, it's just about the friends. We're following all of their stories equally, which we felt like we hadn't seen before. The one sentence pitch is it's about the time in your life when your friends are your family. 

James Corden: Where do you think you characters would be today? Where is Rachel?

Jenifer Aniston: Rachel. I think we're.. Did we get married? Let's say we got married.

David Schwimmer: Sure.

Jenifer Aniston: I think we ended up getting married and we had some kids. And you still played with bones. 

David Schwimmer: Still playing with bones. That's paleontology.

Jenifer Aniston: Paleontology. Still a paleontologist. It gets Joey everytime, I don't know why. 

James Corden: Where're Monica and Chandler?

Courtney Cox: I think my character, Monica, is still really competitive. Her kids are probably not even in.. you know, they're probably graduated. But she still is in charge of the bake sale at elementry school. She's just got to keep things going. PTA..And you are making me laugh every day. 

Matthew Perry: I just wanted to make sure I factored in there somewhere. 

Courtney Cox: How was Pheobe doing?

Lisa Kudrow: Phoebe's married to Mike. They're probably in Connecticut. They had kids. And I think she was like the advocate for her kids, who were a little different, and all the other kids who were just a little different, you know? Creating the arts program and the music thing and all that. 

Courtney Cox: And where's Joey?

Matt LeBlanc: I think he probably opened a sandwich shop in Venice Beach. 

James Corden:  Lisa, has it crossed your mind about, you know, well, maybe we could do another episode, maybe we could do a movie? Is that something you'd ever even contemplate?

Lisa Kudrow: No, no, sorry, I haven't. No, because that's all to Marta and David, and I once heard them say and I completely agree, that they ended the show very nicely. Everyone's lives are very nice and they would have to unravel all those good things in order for there to be stories. 

Marta Kauffman(co-creator, writer): If the show was about that time in your life when your friends are your family, once you have family of your own, it's no longer that time. So the show came, I think, to a natural end. David Crane(co-creator, excutive producer): It was really important for us to end everyone in a good place. We wanted to know that Monica and Chandler were gonna have their babies. And Phoebe was gonna be happy and had a life. There was some discussions in the writer's room about "do we really want Ross and Rachel to get back together"? And we discussed perhaps sort of ambivalent endings where it seemed like down the road...and we went, "no, this is 'Friends.' People have been waiting ten years to see this couple get together. We've got to give them what they want. We just have to find a way to do it so the journey is unexpected. 

Courtney Cox: It was an incredible time. Everything came together. We became best friends who.. just the chemistry, the whole thing. It was life-changing and it forever will be. Not just for us, but for people who watch it. And that's just such a great feeling to carry forever.
