1. seize   [siːz]

v. 抓取; 攻占

Suddenly he seized my hand.

他突然抓住我的手。

2. grab   [græb]

v. 攫取，抓住，霸占

I grabbed at the glass just before it fell.

眼看杯子就要翻倒，我赶紧伸手去抓。

3. snatch  [snætʃ]

v. 夺取，强抢

The thief snatched her purse and ran.

小偷抢了她的钱包就跑。

4. grasp  [grɑːsp]

v. 抓牢；理解（尤其指复杂的事情或观点）

The government has not yet grasped the seriousness of the crisis.

政府还不明白这场危机的严重性。

5. grip   [grɪp]

v. 紧握，紧抓；(对某人或某事物的)控制

He will do anything to keep his grip on power.

6. clasp  [klɑːsp]
