Ways to say it’s very hot

1.    It’s a real scorcher.

(scorcher: An extremely hot day “大热天”)

2.    It’s boiling hot!

3.    We’re having a heatwave! 

(heatwave: a heatwave is a period of time during which the weather is much hotter than ususal “热浪”)

4.    It’s like a furnace outside. (furnace 表示火炉)

5.    We’re in the dog days of summer.
