上个世纪初，帝国主义列强加紧了对中国的侵略，封建统治日益腐朽，中国处于危急存亡之秋。听闻国难，正在日本留学的李大钊同志毅然回国，开启了探索救亡图存之路。

1919年，在《新青年》杂志出版的第6卷第5号上，李大钊同志发表了《我的马克思主义观》，将马克思主义之火在神州大地点燃。他敏锐地察觉到，十月革命的胜利蕴含着不可估量的力量。他感叹:“试看将来的环球，必是赤旗的世界！” 

自此，他开始大量撰写宣传马克思主义的文章，唤醒青年人的革命之心。1920年，他与邓中夏、高君宇等在北京大学秘密发起了马克思学说研究会，设立英文、德文和法文的翻译室，翻译了许多马克思与恩格斯的著作。

李大钊同志是中国共产党的主要创始人之一。1920年秋，他领导并建立共产党早期组织和北京社会主义青年团，积极投身在全国范围建立共产党组织的事业。1921年，中国共产党成立后，李大钊代表党中央指导北方的工作。他领导并亲自参加反对北洋军阀的斗争。“三一八”惨案过后，在极度困难的情况下，李大钊同志依然继续领导党的北方组织，坚持革命斗争。

不幸的是，军阀张作霖勾结帝国主义逮捕了李大钊等先进志士八十余人。他备受酷刑，但始终坚贞不屈。他第一个走上绞刑架，从容就义，结束了他的生命。

李大钊同志的一生，是追求真理的一生，是追求民族独立和人民解放的一生。他不驰于空想，不骛于虚声，创造了亘古未有的丰功伟绩。勇往奋进以赴之、瘅精瘁力以成之、断头流血以从之。他是中国的建设者，是坚定的革命者，是无畏的开拓者！

Today we would like to introduce to you a great man in the history of the Chinese Communist Party - Li Dazhao.

At the beginning of the last century, the combined effect of the intensified imperialist invasion and the increasingly corrupt feudal regime had left China at a critical moment of survival. Hearing of the national calamity, Comrade Li Dazhao, who was studying in Japan, resolutely returned to China to explore the road in an attempt to save the nation from subjugation.

In 1919, in volume 6, number 5, of the New Youth magazine, Li Dazhao published "My View of Marxism", which lit the fire of Marxism in China. He was keenly aware of the immeasurable power of the victory of the October Revolution. He exclaimed, "In the future, the Communist will win victory all around the world." Since then, he began to write a host of articles to spread Marxism and convinced the young people to pursue the revolutionary cause. In 1920, he, together with Deng Zhongxia and Gao Junyu, secretly established the Society of Marxist Study at Peking University, set up a translation office in English, German and French, and translated many of the classics of Marx and Engels.

As one of the main founders of the Communist Party of China, Comrade Li Dazhao established and led the early Communist Party and the Beijing Socialist Youth League in the autumn of 1920, and devoted himself to the establishment of Communist Party organizations nationwide. In 1921, since the founding of the Communist Party of China, Li Dazhao had been guiding the work of the north on behalf of the CPC Central Committee. He led and personally joined in the struggle against the Northern Warlords. After the tragedy occurring on March 18, under extremely difficult circumstances, Comrade Li Dazhao continued to lead the Party's northern organization and persisted in the revolutionary struggle.

Unfortunately, the warlord, Zhang Zuolin, in collusion with the imperialists, arrested More than eighty advanced patriots including Li Dazhao, despite being tortured, he remained unwavering in loyalty to be the first one to walk to the gallows and died a martyr.

Comrade Li Dazhao devoted all his life to seeking truth, and pursuing national independence and liberation. He was down-to-the-earth, creating unprecedentedly tremendous achievements. He went forward to it with his courage, perseverance and even his life. He was a builder of China, a determined revolutionary, and a fearless pioneer!

The history has witnessed the centenary of the founding of the Party and the contributions made by a multitude of heroes.

Put the spirit of the people in our minds and the spirit of struggle in practice.
