Five little monkeys wake up with the sun.

五只小猴子在阳光中醒来。

“Today is Mama’s birthday!”

“今天是妈妈的生日！”

Five little monkeys tiptoe past Mama sleeping.

五只小猴子蹑手蹑脚地经过还在睡梦中的妈妈。

“Let’s bake a birthday cake!”

“让我们做个生日蛋糕吧！”

“Sh-h-h!Don’t wake up Mama!”

“嘘！别吵醒妈妈！”

One little monkey reads the recipe.

一只小猴子读食谱。

“Two cups of flour.

Three teaspoons of baking powder.

“两杯面粉。三茶匙发酵粉。

2 CUPS OF FLOUR

I MEASURED 3 TEASPOONS!

3 TEASPOONS COMING UP!

I’LL GET 3 TEASPOONS

2杯面粉

我量了3茶匙！

3茶匙来了!

我来弄3茶匙

“Sift everything together.But don’t sneeze!

You’ll wake up Mama!”

“把所有东西筛到一起。但是不要打喷嚏！

你会吵醒妈妈！”

A-AH CHOO!“Sh-h-h!Don’t wake up Mama!”

A-AH CHOO!

啊啾！“嘘！别吵醒妈妈！

”啊啾！

Five little monkeys check on Mama.

五只小猴子去看看妈妈（是否被吵醒）。

“She’s still asleep.We can finish making the cake.”

“她还在睡呢。我们可以完成做蛋糕。”

One little monkey reads the recipe.

一只小猴子读食谱。

“Add four eggs.”

“加四个鸡蛋。”

Four little monkeys each get some eggs.

四只小猴子各自拿了一些鸡蛋。

I HAVE 2 EGGS!

I HAVE 2 EGGS!

I HAVE 3 EGGS!

I HAVE 3 EGGS!

我有2个鸡蛋！

我有2个鸡蛋！

我有3个鸡蛋！

我有3个鸡蛋！

“And we need sugar and oil.”

“然后我们需要糖和油。”

“Don’t spill the oil!”

“别把油洒了！”

But one little monkey spills…

And another little monkey slips and falls.

但是一只小猴子洒了……

然后另一只小猴子脚下一滑并摔倒了。

“Sh-h-h!Don’t wake up Mama!”CRASH!YIKES!

“嘘！别吵醒妈妈！”哗啦！呀！

Five little monkeys check on Mama.

五只小猴子去看看妈妈（是否被吵醒）。

“She’s still asleep.We can finish making the cake.”

“她还在睡呢。我们可以完成做蛋糕。”

One little money reads the recipe.

一只小猴子读食谱。

“Next,mix everything together and put it into pans.

Then bake the cake in the oven.”

“下一步，把所有东西混合在一起然后放进平底锅里。

然后放到烤箱里烤面包。”

Another little monkey says,“

Now we can go up to our room and

make a present for Mama.”

另一只小猴子说，“现在我们可以上去我们的房间给妈妈做礼物。”

Five little monkeys start to make a present.

五只小猴子开始做礼物。

“Sh-h-h!Don’t wake up Mama!”

“嘘！别吵醒妈妈！”

One little monkey says,“Do you smell something burning?”BANG!BANG!SCREECH！

一只小猴子说，

“你闻到什么东西糊了吗？

”嗙！嗙！啊（尖叫声）！

Five little monkeys race past Mama sleeping.

五只小猴子冲出去经过熟睡的妈妈。

“Sh-h-h!Don’t wake up Mama!”

“嘘！别吵醒妈妈。”

“Oh no!The cake dripped all over.”

“哦不！蛋糕流得到处都是。”

“Turn off the oven!”

“关上烤箱！”

“Save the cake!”

“挽救蛋糕！”

“Sh-h-h!Don’t wake up Mama!”

“嘘！别吵醒妈妈！”

“Look!Here comes the fire engine!”

says one little monkey.

“看！消防车来了！”一只小猴子说。

“Sh-h-h!Don’t wake up Mama!”

says another little monkey.

“嘘！别吵醒妈妈！”另一只小猴子说。

E-E-E-E-E“Where’s the fire?

”shouts a fireman.

伊-（消防车的声音）“哪里着火了？”消防员大喊。

“It’s not a fire!”sniffs one little monkey.

“不是火灾！”一只小猴子哼了一声。

“We ruined Mama’s birthday cake.”

“我们弄坏了妈妈的生日蛋糕。”

“Wait!”says another little monkey.

“This cake doesn’t taste TOO bad.”

“等等！”另一只小猴子说。“这个蛋糕味道没那么糟。”

“Frosting might help,”

says the other fireman.

“冻一下没准管用，”另一个消防员说。

Five little monkeys and

 two firemen frost the cake.

五只小猴子和两个消防员把蛋糕冻了起来。

“Now we can wake up Mama!”

“现在我们可以叫醒妈妈！”

Five little monkeys and two firemen

sing to Mama very,very,very LOUDLY.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

五只小猴子和两个消防员对妈妈非常、非常、

非常大声地对妈妈唱生日快乐！

And Mama wakes up!

然后妈妈醒了！

“What a wonderful surprise,”she says.“

But my birthday is tomorrow!”

“这是多么令人愉快的惊喜，”她说。“但是我的生日是明天！”

“Oh no!”say five little monkeys“But can we still have birthday cake for breakfast?”

“哦不！”五只小猴子说，

“但是我们仍然可以把这个生日蛋糕当早餐？”

“Why not?”says Mama.

“为什么不呢？”妈妈说。

Five little monkeys,two firemen,

and Mama think the birthday cake is delicious.

五只小猴子，两个消防员，

和妈妈都觉得这个生日蛋糕很好吃。

One little monkey whispers,“

We can bake another cake tomorrow.”

一只小猴子悄悄说，

“明天我们可以再做一个蛋糕。”

Another little monkey says,“

“Sh-h-h!Don’t tell Mama!”

另一个小猴子说，“嘘！别告诉妈妈！”
