To speak truly, few adult persons can see nature. Most persons do not see the sun. At least they have a very superficial seeing. The sun illuminate only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and the heart of the child.

说实话，没有几个成年人能真正看见自然。大多数人都看不见大阳。至少，他们眼里看到的只是浮光掠影。对于成人来说，大阳只是照亮了他的双眼所见，但对孩子而言，阳光却渗入了他的眼睛和心灵。

The lover of nature is he whose inward and outward senses are still truly adjusted to each other; who has retained the spirit of infancy even into the era of manhood. His intercourse with heaven and earth, becomes part of his daily food.

一个热爱自然的人，他外在的知觉和内心的感触是合而为一的，即使他长大成年以后，还依然保持着一颗童心。对他来说，与天地的交流，是日常生活中不可或缺的一部分。
