老师提问方式：

老师一般会用：What is your plan for the next three years?你接下来三年有什么样的规划？或者What do you want to achieve during your postgraduate study?读研期间你想要达成什么样的目标？这样的方式来提问。如果是专硕，就是两年，two years。

问题分析：

这个问题回答的关键在于层次，我要在这三年中达成哪几样目标，第一、第二、第三，以及我要如何行动，有什么计划，来达成这样的目标。

答题例文：

接下来，我们来看看怎么回答这个问题。我会先说要表达的中文意思，再给出英文例文。

如果我有幸被贵校录取，我将在三年的学习当中完成以下目标：首先，我会尽快在第一学年完成研究生阶段需要学习的课程，通过考试，修满学分。其次，我将在第二学年开始阅读专业文献，与导师和学长学姐一起进行学术研究，在重要的学术网站上发表几篇论文。最后，在第三学年完成毕业论文，参加实习，为之后的就业做准备。我相信我的研究生生活会是充实而精彩的。

If I am luckily admitted, I will achieve the following goals during the next three-year study. First of all, I will try my best to finish all the courses needed for my graduation, pass all the exams and get all the credits in the first year. Then, in the second year, I am going to start reading papers and periodicals as well as doing some academic research with the seniors and my mentor. What's more, I would try to issue a few papers on some influential academic websites. At last, I will finish my graduation thesis in the third year, take part in internships, and prepare for my future employment. I believe my postgraduation life would be enriched and interesting.

内容结构：

这个问题的回答结构其实非常简单，就是把自己研究生的目标分为几个阶段，将每个阶段的目标清晰具体地说出来，可以使用first of all, in the second place, at last这类表示次序的逻辑关联词来使回答的逻辑更加清晰。最好再一句话总结一下自己的期许就可以了。在内容上，如果是学硕的同学，可以直接套用上面的例文，初期完成课程和学分，中期做研究、发表论文，后期写毕业论文、实习和找工作。如果是专硕的话，需要根据自己的实际修改一下时间线，因为专硕一般只有两年。
