8. 为什么转专业�Why do you change/shift your major?�Why do you choose to study XXX instead of studying your present major?�【参考例文 1 】�Thank you for your question. In my senior year I signed up for a course on law�by chance but I fell in love with it instantly. So I took online classes of Professor Luo Xiang and read journals in law such as China Law & Practice and China Legal Science. It is well understood that everyone is equal before the law. Law brings justice to every individual no matter rich or poor, strong or weak. Sometimes Law is the only resort for t he weak to fight for the right they deserve. I know that our legal system may not be sound enough now. So I want to make my own contribution to the legal construction and bring justice to more people. After a comprehensive understanding�of law ， I believe it is the career I want to devote myself to and that's why I want to study it further. As the oath of your school said “Wield the sword of law and hold the balance of justice”, I want to grow up to be a responsible legal man in this top -ranked law school just like the other graduates here do.
