Tom and David are both my nephew. They are of same age. Tom loves reading while David doesn't. Why? It has something to do with what they were brought up. When Tom was about two years old, his parents started reading about stories to him. When he was a bit old, he was asked to read picture books by themselves. By six years old, he has formed the habit of reading regular. But David's parents didn't read to him and ask him to read. So it's no wonder that David doesn't read now. I think parents play a really important role in help their children fall in love with reading.
