Once upon a time, there was a king who had a beautiful daughter.  

从前，有一个国王，他有一个美丽的女儿。 

One day, the king said: ““Anyone who can prepare for me a dessert that is both hot and cold at the same time can marry my beautiful daughter!”  

一天，国王说：“如果谁能给我做出一种甜品，既是热的又是冷的，那他就可以娶我美丽的女儿。 

Many young men brought over their desserts, but they were either hot or cold. 

很多年轻人都带来了他们的甜品，但是他们要么是热的，要么是冷的。 

The king and the princess were very disappointed. 

国王和公主很失望。 

Finally, a handsome young prince showed up with a plastic dish. 

终于，有一个英俊的年轻王子出现了，并带来了一个塑料盘子。 

Inside this dish were three scoops of ice cream and some fresh fruits, like strawberries, pineapple chunks, and banana slices. 

盘子里面装了三个冰淇凌球和一些新鲜水果，比如草莓，菠萝块和香蕉片。 

The king shouted at this young prince: How many times do I have to say that I want a dessert that is both HOT and COLD?”
