1、unify

Strong support for the war has unified the nation.

2、*unite

[juː'naɪt]

v.（使）结合；（使）联合；（使）团结

Care must be taken to unite with all those that can be united with. 

必须注意团结一切可以团结的人。

3、*combine

[kəm'baɪn]

Sickness, combined with terrible weather, contrived to ruin the trip.

疾病，加上恶劣的天气，毁掉了这次旅行。

combination   n. 结合

4、*bind

[baɪnd]

vt. 捆绑；使团结；使联合；装订；包扎

Their shared experiences in war helped to bind the two communities together.

8、*integrate
