Many services from Google's parent company Alphabet, including YouTube, Gmail and Google Drive, were down for thousands of users across the globe yesterday.

Google's own website that logs outages showed that all of the company's services suffered outages for 45 minutes. Google has stated that it was caused by an internal storage quota issue. According to "DownDetector", an outage monitoring website, more than 12,000 YouTube users were affected worldwide. This isn't the first time Google users have suffered from services outages this year. Back in August, Google users also reported problems while attempting to access Google cloud services, it took 6 hours for services to be restored.

美国时间昨天上午，谷歌服务器发生宕机，几乎所有主要应用程序无法上线，包括视频网站Youtube和邮箱Gmail，导致全球数以亿计的用户无法访问关键服务，整个过程持续大约45分钟。随后，谷歌公司发表声明称，宕机原因是内部技术故障，因存储配额问题，导致用于登录用户账户的身份验证系统发生故障。今年，谷歌服务器已多次发生类似事件。8月，谷歌服务器遭遇全球宕机，多项应用服务中断，影响全球大部分地区，谷歌公司在六小时后设法恢复服务，但没有解释故障原因。
