3.*allow [ə'laʊ]
v. 允许；使有可能

4.*admit [əd'mɪt]
v.（尤指不情愿地）承认；允许……进入；准许加入
She admitted making a mistake. 
她承认她犯了个错误。
Men will not be admitted to the restaurant without a tie.
