 1.*adequate ['ædɪkwət]
 adj. 足够的；合格的
 It's not a big salary but it’s adequate for our needs.
 工资虽不优厚，但足以满足我们的需要了。 

 2.*abundant [ə'bʌnd(ə)nt]
 adj. 大量的，丰富的
 There is abundant evidence that cars have a harmful effect on the environment. 
 大量证据证明汽车有害于坏境。 

 3.redundant [rɪ'dʌnd(ə)nt]
 adj. 多余的，冗长的
 My English teacher was merciless if what we wrote was abstract, sentimental or redundant.
