[伊索寓言] 斗鸡与老鹰

The Fighting Cocks and the Eagle

Two young cocks were fighting fiercely for the right to rule a dunghill(粪堆)...The victor flew straight to the top of an outhouse, clapped his wings, and crowed loudly to announce his victory.  Jus then an eagle swooped down from the sky, grabbed his with his talons(爪), and carried him away...and strutted(趾高气扬地走) about among his hens with all the dignity of a majestic king.
