Good afternoon distinguished professors,

    I am glad to be here for this interview. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is He Ping, and I have been a Chinese teacher for twenty years after graduation. Meanwhile, I have published several articles in local magazines. In my spare time, I like reading books, listening to music, and traveling around the world.

  In summer and winter vacations, my son and I have been to England and Ireland , during which time my son joined Summer Camp to learn native language. Besides, I have visited many Confucius Institutes and attended Confucius Classrooms . Working as a volunteer in Dublin, what impressed me most is that the school uniform of Blackrock college is marked with Chinese character-- Chang , which shows they have great enthusiasm and interest in Chinese traditional culture. In their eyes, there is so much magic in Chinese character, calligraphy [kə'lɪgrəfɪ], folk music, martial art and traditional festivals. Their enthusiasm inspired my dream, a dream about Chinese culture and the world. So I hope to go further on my major. With a higher level of Chinese and an optimistic attitude, I believe I can make a difference to the spread of Chinese culture. So I want to apply for the Master of Arts in Chinese of your school .

    College of Liberal Arts of Lu Dong University is my dream place where so many great professors and masters are devoted to Chinese culture. Therefore, MTCSL(Chinese International Education) is definitely the first and best choice for my postgraduate studies.

    I really appreciate it if you could consider my application. It will be my great honor to study here and I promise that I would live up to your expectation once admitted. I will try my best to learn as much as I can to make contributions to our beautiful culture and country.
