少儿睡前故事-笨村长


At the backyard of a farmer's house, there was a clay container filled with grain. A goat put its head into the clay container to eat the grain. When it was full enough, it found that it could not free itself from the neck of the container.


在一个农夫的后院里有一个陶罐，里面装满了谷粒。一只山羊把头伸进罐里吃谷子，然而它吃饱了之后，头却卡在了罐子里，怎么也拔不出来。


The farmer tried to help in freeing it but failed. Finally, he asked for help from the village headman .


农夫费了半天劲，想帮山羊把头从罐子里拔出来，可是没有成功，他只好请求村长来帮忙。


The village headman came riding on a camel, but the door of the house was too low for them to enter.The village headman ordered the farmer to pull down the door to make way for him and the camel.


村长骑着一头骆驼来到农夫家，可是农夫家的门框太矮了，村长骑着骆驼进不去，他便叫农夫把门拆掉让自己骑着骆驼进去。


When the village headman went into the backyard he saw the goat with its head in the clay container. He said, "It's not a problem!”


门被拆掉后，村长来到后院，看见山羊的脑袋卡在陶罐里，便说：“这根本不是什么麻烦事啊！”


He used a knife to chop off the goat's head and said to the farmer, "Here you are, the goat is free now."


村长用一把刀一下子把山羊的头砍了下来，对农夫说：“好了，山羊出来了。


The farmer said, "But the head of the goat is still inside the container!”


农夫说：“可是山羊的头还在罐子里啊！”


The village headman said, "No problem! "He broke the clay container into pieces.


村长说：“这个简单！”说罢便将陶罐砸碎了。


The poor farmer sat on the ground in a daze. He had asked for help from the village headman but it had resulted in the door of his house being pulled down, a broken clay container and a dead goat!


农夫一脸茫然地呆坐在地上。他请村长来帮忙，可是现在摆在他面前的是被拆掉的门、被打碎的陶罐和被杀死了的山羊。
