The Unique Artist 

Pablo Picasso was born in Spain on October 25, 1881. His father was a painter and art teacher. Pablo liked to draw from an early age. Legend has it that his first word was piz, short for “pencil” in Spanish.

毕加索于1881年10月25日出生于西班牙。他的父亲是画家和美术老师。 巴勃罗喜欢从小画画。 传说他的第一个单词是piz，是西班牙语中“pencil”的缩写。

Pablo had little interest in school but was an extremely talented artist. At the age of 9, he made his first painting of a bullfight. When he was 14, Pablo attended a famous art school in Barcelona.

However, Pablo was bored with the classic teachings at art school. He wanted to create something new. That is how he started the artistic style called Cubism. His Cubist paintings broke subjects into pieces like a puzzle. The shapes had strange colors and lines.
