As protests continue across the US following the death of George Floyd in police custody, at least 40 cities in more than 20 US states and Washington DC have imposed curfews. 

乔治·弗洛伊德被警方拘押致死一事引发的抗议活动在美国持续，超过20个州的至少40个城市以及华盛顿特区宣布实施宵禁。

As of Sunday morning, approximately 5,000 National Guard members have been activated in 15 states and Washington DC, with another 2,000 prepared to activate if needed.

Floyd, who was black, died after police officer Derek Chauvin, who is white, pressed his knee against Floyd's neck for nearly nine minutes while Floyd was pinned to the ground following his arrest on May 25 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

SpaceX has completed the first part of its historic crewed flight to the International Space Station (ISS) Sunday morning, when its Crew Dragon spacecraft successfully docked with the orbiting laboratory.

In a first for a commercial spacecraft, Crew Dragon docked with the ISS at 10:16 am Eastern Time Sunday, a few minutes earlier than planned, carrying astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley.

The two astronauts entered the ISS at 1:22 pm Eastern Time, after the hatch opened.

The launch marks the first time since 2011 that American astronauts have launched from an American rocket on American soil to the ISS.It also marks the first time in history where NASA astronauts were launched into orbit by a commercially built spacecraft operated by an American crew.

3 /Vaccines perform well

Two experimental vaccines for the novel coronavirus developed by research institutions run by China National Pharmaceutical Group, also known as Sinopharm, have shown positive signs of efficacy and safety, raising hopes that a vaccine could be available as soon as the end of this year. 

国务院国资委5月29日晚在其微信公众号上发布声明称，国药集团下属研究机构研发的两种新冠病毒实验疫苗已显现出安全有效的积极迹象，最快有望于今年年底上市。

Meanwhile, Sinopharm is ramping up its vaccine manufacturing capacity, aiming to produce at least 200 million doses of novel coronavirus vaccine a year to increase the accessibility of approved products, according to a statement posted on WeChat on Friday night by the State Council's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. 

与此同时，国药集团正在提高其疫苗生产能力，目标是年产能达到2亿剂以上，以提高新冠病毒疫苗的可及性。

The two inactivated vaccines have both "entered the first two phases" of clinical trials, with more than 2,000 human volunteers being injected with one of them, it said.

Clinical data show their safety and efficacy are "fully verified", and the rates and severity of adverse reactions observed in recipients are much lower than vaccines for other diseases already approved for the market, the statement said.

4 / Roadside food stalls are back

Cities around China started allowing people to set up roadside booths or food stalls on streets. The vendors had been banned to keep the cities clean, and their return is expected to help increase people's incomes and revive local economies hit hard by the novel coronavirus outbreak. 

近日，国内多个城市开始允许人们在街道上摆摊设点。此前，为了城市卫生，我国曾禁止商贩路边摆摊。路边摊的回归预计将有助于增加人们的收入，重振受新冠肺炎疫情重创的地方经济。

In Changchun, capital of Jilin province, night markets and food stalls can be opened in designated areas in parks, public squares and empty spaces as long as they don't interrupt traffic and local life. 

在吉林省会长春，只要不影响交通，不扰民，且通过了环境保护评估，商贩即可在公园、公共广场、空地的指定区域开设夜市和小吃摊。

They also have to pass environmental protection assessments. People are also being allowed to set up temporary roadside businesses, which were previously targeted by city administrators because they have often caused traffic jams and pollution. 

政府还允许人们临时在路边摆摊，此前，由于经常导致交通堵塞和污染问题，这些摊点是城管的重点整治对象。

Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, has been allowing people to run businesses in designated areas on some pedestrian streets since March 15. It has designated more than 2,234 roadside business areas, 82 promotional areas on streets near large shopping malls and 17,891 vending spots, creating more than 100,000 jobs, the city government said.

四川省会成都自3月15日起允许民众在部分人行道的指定区域摆摊。成都市政府称，成都已设置临时占道摊点、摊区2234个，大型商场占道促销点82个，允许流动商贩经营点17891个，增加就业岗位10万个以上。
