腐烂rot + cover

1、rot

[rɒt]

v. （使）腐败，（使）腐烂  n. 腐败，腐烂；腐化，堕落

Candy will rot your teeth. 

吃糖会腐蚀牙齿。

2、rotten

['rɒtn]

adj. 腐烂的, 腐朽的

The apples went rotten very quickly. 

苹果很快就腐烂了。

3、erode

v. 侵蚀; 削弱, 逐步损害

4、corrode
