Lesson113:  Two people talking about families.  两个人在谈论家庭。

1) How are your parents these days?  你的父母最近怎么样？                               

2) My folks  are fine. How is your sister?  我的家人(父母）很好。你姐姐怎么样？                                        

3) She is well. She had a baby six months ago.  她很好。她六个月前生了一个孩子。                                        

4) That makes you an uncle! 那你就是叔叔了！                    

5) Did you know your grandparents at all?  你从来都没有见过你的祖父母吗？   

6) No, they passed away before I was born. 没有。他们在我出生前就去世了。      

7) Didn't you have a cousin in Australia?  你在澳大利亚没有表亲吗？                          

8) Yes, he is related through my mother's side of the family.  是的，他是我母亲家的亲戚。                         

9) What about your brother? Is he still in Shanghai? 你的哥哥呢？他还在上海吗？     

10) Yes, he recently changed jobs.  是的，他最近换了工作。                         

11) We are taking our children on vacation to Los Angeles.  我们要带孩子去洛杉矶度假。                             

12) How old are your children? 你的孩子多大了？

13) My son is 12 and my daughter is 8.  我儿子12岁，女儿8岁。                              

14) Is your daughter thinking of going to college in America?你的女儿想在美国上大学吗？                          

15) We should get everyone together for dinner!  我们应该让大家一起吃晚饭！
