降调意味着完成，确定性。一般在一个句子说完后，会用降调。母语人士听到你用降调，就会自动认为你已经说完要说的了。有下列几种句型我们都可以在句子结尾用降调。

陈述句

They came on Tuesday.

I’d like some tea.

特殊疑问句

When did you come?

What’s the time?

祈使句

Put it over there!

Go and find it!

感叹句

What an awful film that was!

What a surprise!
