Peppa Pig, the perky little porcine beloved of preschoolers across the world, is at the center of a sexism row after London's fire service accused makers of the hit show of using "out of date stereotypical gender specific wording." 
活泼可爱的小猪佩奇深受全球学龄前儿童的喜爱，然而最近佩奇身陷性别歧视的风波。英国伦敦消防局批评这部热门儿童剧的制作人使用了"过时的刻板性别特定用语"。

The blockbuster cartoon, which airs in more than 180 countries, has faced criticism after an episode called "The Fire Engine" referred to a firefighter as a fireman. The London Fire Brigade tweeted: "Come on @peppapig, we've not been firemen for 30 years. You have a huge influence on kids & using out of date stereotypical gender specific wording prevents young girls from becoming firefighters."

The fire brigade's tweets sparked a row, with one Twitter user posting a picture of a Peppa Pig story book that clearly features several female firefighters, including Mummy Pig.

More Chinese women are entering China's property market, with the proportion of women homebuyers having increased by nearly 18% over the past four years. According to a recent analysis from Ke.com, a property listing website, although property market is still dominated by men, there's an increasing number of single women who are new buyers year on year. 
我国越来越多的女性正"进军"国内的地产市场，过去四年里女性购房者的比例增长了近18%。根据房源网站贝壳找房近期的分析，虽然男性仍然主导着地产市场，作为新晋买家的单身女性数量同比有所增加。

The company analyzed 67,724 transactions on its platform in 2018 and found that 47.9% of the buyers were women. In 2014, women accounted for about 30% of transactions on the platform. According to statistics, the percentage of unmarried women buyers in first-tier cities is higher than that in second-tier cities.

The United Kingdom's decision to leave the European Union has led major financial companies in London to move assets and staff to continental Europe. According to a recent report by think tank The New Financial, more than 40 companies have shifted staff or operations to more than one financial center within the EU, with 100 choosing Dublin, the Irish capital, as a post-Brexit location, which was the most popular choice ahead of Luxembourg, with 60, Paris with 41, Frankfurt with 40, and Amsterdam with 32.

William Wright, principal author of the report, said: "One of the most striking findings of our analysis is the extent to which Europe will become a much more 'multipolar' world as a result of Brexit." Companies are migrating to, or expanding in, multiple financial centers, with many either establishing a dedicated division for EU business or spreading their staff more evenly throughout the EU.

UK drone retailer Drones Direct say that they have modified a popular automated aerial vehicle to allow dog owners to take their pet for a stroll completely hands-free. The device uses GPS to lead dogs along a programmed route. Their DJI Phantom 4 Dog Drone costs twice the price of the regular model at ￡1,999.

The company claims to have installed built-in collision avoidance and an automated altitude ability, to ensure the flying Dog Drone can navigate obstacles.
