Mr. Shark loves parties.        鲨鱼先生喜欢派对。

One day he gets a card.       一天他收到一张卡片。

Dear Mr. Shark,                   亲爱的鲨鱼先生，

Please come to our party on Mars on the 10th. 

请于10号到火星上参加我们的聚会。

The 10th? That’s tomorrow!        10号？那是明天呀！

Mr. Shark starts in the dark.         鲨鱼先生摸黑出发。

He goes through a park, a farm and a garden.  

他穿过一个公园，一个农场和一个花园。

Good morning, Mark! Where’s the party?  

早上好，马克！派对在哪里？

Party? No party today.                派对？今天没有派对。

Oh, no! The party is in a month.  喔，不！派对是一个月后。

Goodbye, Mark! See you next month!       再见，马克！下个月见。

Goodbye, Mr. Shark. You’re really a party shark. 

再见，鲨鱼先生。你真是个派对鲨。

Horton’s Horns                                  霍顿的角

Horton wakes up in the morning.      霍顿早上醒来。

“Horns?  That’shorrible!”                  角？太可怕了！

Horton feels sad.                                霍顿感到伤心。

A bird stops on one of his horns.        一只小鸟停在他的一只角上。

“Wow! My horns are useful!”              哇，我的角有用！

“My horns can be a hanger?”           我的角可以当衣架。

“My horns can help mom knit.”         我的角可以帮妈妈织毛衣。

“My horns can help dad open cans.” 我的角可以帮爸爸开罐子。

“And my horns can help my friends do sports.” 

而且我的角能帮我的朋友们做运动。

Horton is happy with his horns now.   霍顿现在很高兴自己有角。
