21Will/shall（1）表将要做某事

我们通常用I will来表示我们在说话的时候出现念头想去做的事情:
-Oh, I've left the door open. I'll go and shut it.
-What would you like to drink? I'll have an orange juice, please.
- Did you phone Ruth? Oh, no, I forgot. I'll phone her now.
刚才的这些句子不可以用一般现在时表达。
比如：
I'll go and shut the door.
——不可以说 I go and shut...
我们通常这样表达: I think I'll 和 I don't think I'll.
- I feel a bit hungry. I think I'll have something to eat.
- I don't think I'll go out tonight. I'm too tired.
在口语里will的否定形式是 won't(will not):
I can see you're busy，so I won't stay long.

我们在上两个units有提到过，当谈论已经决定并安排好要做的事情的时候不可以用will：
-I'm going on holiday next Saturday.
-Are you working tomorrow?
已经安排好要做的事情我们用be going to来表达。
在下面这些场景里，我们通常会使用will：
1.提供帮助或服务：
That bag looks heavy. I'll help you with it.
2.同意去做某事:
A:You know that book I lent you. Can I have it back if you've finished it with it?
B: Of course, I'll give it to you this afternoon.
3.承诺去做某事:
-Thanks for lending me the money. I'll pay you back on Friday.
-I won't tell anyone what happened. I promise.
4.请求某人做某事（Will you）:
-Will you please be quiet? I'm trying to concentrate.
-Will you shut the door, please?
另外，我们可以用 won't 表达某人拒绝做某事:
-I've tried to advise her but she won't listen.
- The car won't start. I wonder what's wrong with it.

Shall I …Shall we…?
shall这个词大多数时候用于引导第一人称的问句:Shall I…?/shall we…?表示我们提供建议时询问对方的意见:
-Shall I open the window?
-I've got no money. What shall I do?
-Shall we go? Just a minute. I'm not ready yet. -Where shall we go this evening?
最后我们来比较一下 Shall I …?和will you…?
-Shall I shut the door?表示我在询问你希望我关门吗？
- Will you shut the door?这里表示我希望你关门。
