发这个音时，首先先发单元音/e/，同时舌尖轻触下齿。然后很快滑向/ə/音，发音过程中双唇半开。/eə/是个"集中双元音"，发音/e/时嘴角向两边拉，滑向/ə/音收小，口型由大变小。
