I remember when I was a child I used to not sleep well if I knew I had a get-together with my friends the next day. I think it's all because I was too excited to fall asleep.

我记得我小时候，每次和朋友出去玩，前一天晚上总是睡不着，太兴奋了！大家有类似的情况吗？

今天我们就来聊聊 "睡不着、睡不好" 那些事儿。

I had trouble falling asleep last night. 昨晚我睡不着。

I didn't sleep well last night. 我昨晚没睡好。

I didn't sleep (at all)/(a wink) last night. 昨晚我一夜没睡/ 一宿没合眼。

It kept me up all night. 它(某事物)让我彻夜难眠/ 把我折腾了一宿。

A ：What are you drinking? Looks like medicine.

你在喝什么? 看起来像药。

B：A black coffee plus an extra shot of espresso.

一杯黑咖啡加了份浓度。

A：Whoa! You didn't sleep well last night, did you?

哇! 你昨晚没睡好，是吗?

B：My son wasn't feeling well and he kept me up all night. I basically didn't sleep at all last night.

我儿子不舒服，把我折腾了一宿。我昨晚基本上没睡。

A：Sounds rough. Maybe you can take a nap during lunch.
