Hey, Welcome back everyone. This is Perry.Today is the second issue in our A Different Christmas special edition. Lasttime we talked about what the people in a town did for a dying two year old,but today we are going to see what a 4-year-old kid can do for others. Take aminute to think this through: Are you making a difference in this world? If theanswer is yes, then ask yourself a second question: If you were a 4 year-oldkid, what would you do to change the world? Ok, let’s find out our superheroAustin’s story.

Audio Script:

Austin Perine: Would you like a sandwich? My name isAustin Perine and I am four yeas old. My favorite thing in the world to do isfeed the homeless.


TJ Perine(father): Austin and I werewatching an animal show and there was a mother panda that was leaving her cubs.Austin began to get concerned, and I told him that the panda would be homeless.


Austin: It makes me feel sad


TJ: My idea was just to take Austin by oneof the homeless shelters and he said “Can we feed them?” When a 4-year-old asksyou, what can you say?


Austin (at a Burger King check-outcounter): 25 chicken sandwiches, please!


Austin shouting: Show love!!!!!


TJ: Austin and I started with that one timeand we figured out Austin liked what he was doing. I decided to do it once aweek.


A homeless person: It’s because of you thatI want to be a better person. Man!


TJ: Austin has a lot of compassion becausehe has a brother with autism. So since he was born, he’s always been a nurturerof his brother. He’s kind of like a little dad to him.


Austin asking a homeless man: Would youlike a sandwich?


Homeless man: Yes, sir.


Austin: Don’t forget to show love!


Homeless man: Yes, sir.


Austin: Show love means you care aboutsomeone no matter what they look like.


TJ: He likes being called a “superhero”. It’shis own entity, President Austin. He didn’t like to be called superman.


I heard many of the citizens across thecity know President Austin’s story. It’s one of Hope, it’s one of our younger generationkids understands the importance of helping others.


Austin: You’re welcome. Don’t forget toshow love.
