Words of Love
Introduction: This is my finalshow, and I wish everyone a very merry Christmas.
Good evening, my belovedfriends. This is Cody. On This Christmas night, I guess it might be a good timeto share some words of love with you all.
The very first love lettertonight was from Johnny Cash, the household American star.
We get old and get used toeach other. We think alike. We read each other’s minds. We know what the otherwants without asking. Sometimes we irritate each other a little bit. Maybesometimes take each other for granted. But once in a while, like today, Imeditate on it and realize how lucky I am to share my life with the greatestwoman I ever met.
I really love this piece, asit revealed something that we should’ve known but not yet-Love will alwaysbring us trouble, drag us down onto tears. However, we also need to know it’s aprocess that every lover is supposed to go through. Time will wrinkle us, andthose who keep believing are the lucky ones to hold on to the end.
Another love letter was amasterpiece of the worldwide famous statesman, Winston Churchill. In theletter, he said: 'My darling Clemmie, in your letter from Madras you wrote somewords very dear to me, about having enriched your life. I cannot tell you whatpleasure this gave me, because I always feel so overwhelmingly in your debt, ifthere can be accounts in love.'
Compared with words likeinteresting or humorous, I’d rather say this one is extraordinary. In thepolitical giant’s mind, he thought love was kind of like a bank account, and hewould never pay off his debt. I don’t understand his feeling right now, butmaybe I can, if I’m fortunate enough to find my Mr. Right in the future.
The last love letter I want toshare with you guys, is the well-known Steven Jobs Stereotype. Although many ofyou have read it a million times, I still want to read it out with my ownemotions.
’We didn't know much abouteach other twenty years ago. We were guided by our intuition; you swept me offmy feet. It was snowing when we got married at the Ahwahnee, Years passed, kidscame, good times, hard times, but never bad times. Our love and respect haveendured and grown. We've been through so much together and here we are rightback where we started 20 years ago—older, wiser—with wrinkles on our faces andhearts. We now know many of life's joys, sufferings, secrets and wonders andwe're still here together. My feet have never returned to the ground.’
To be honest, sometimes Iwonder why we people can tolerate so much. When life is about to knock us down, when we’re about to give in, I would say, again, I trust in love and unknownmysteries. I don’t know who I will meet, I don’t know what’s gonna happen, butI just stick to the belief that my one and only is on the way, no matter howlong the way could be.
This is the end of today’sAudible Life. May of all you guys can find your true love someday, and, Merry Christmas!
