A Chinese bronze vessel some 3,000 years old that was looted and taken to the UK in the 19th century has returned to its country of origin. It was transferred to the National Museum of China on Tuesday.
我国一件已有约3000年历史、于19世纪被掠走并流失英国的青铜器近日重回祖国。11日，青铜"虎鎣"被移交给国家博物馆。

The vessel, known as the Bronze Tiger Ying, was auctioned in April by Britain's Canterbury Auction Galleries. The buyer, through the auction house, contacted China's State Administration of Cultural Heritage later on and expressed hope for an unconditional donation.
今年4月，"虎鎣"在英国坎特伯雷拍卖行被拍卖，后来买家通过拍卖行联系国家文物局，表示希望将其无条件捐赠。

Information shows the vessel, from the late period of the Western Zhou Dynasty (c. 11th century-771 BC) and once belonging to the royal family of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), was taken away by British military officer Harry Evans from the Old Summer Palace, which was sacked and destroyed in 1860 during the invasion of Anglo-French allied forces.

Dozens of chartered planes flew into Udaipur for celebrations to mark the wedding of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, which was dubbed locally "the big, fat Indian wedding".

Egyptian authorities restricted the sale of yellow reflective vests amid fears opponents might attempt to copy French gilets jaunes protesters. Security officials and retailers said industrial safety equipment dealers have been instructed not to sell yellow vests to walk-in buyers and to restrict business to wholesale to verified companies, but only after securing police permission.

A recent report shows 42.2% of Chinese employees worked overtime in 2017, with the average schedule exceeding eight hours. Researchers from Inner Mongolia University have studied the usage of time among 30,591 people in 12,471 families across 29 provinces and municipalities throughout China.
近期一份报告显示，2017年，42.2%的中国劳动者超时工作，日均工作时长超过8小时。内蒙古大学的研究人员对国内29个省市12471个家庭的30591名家庭成员的时间利用进行研究后发现。

Low-income earners, people with lower education, and workers in the manufacturing and production sectors were found to be more likely to work extra time, as high as 58.8% for those employed in manufacturing.

Du Fenglian, the project's lead researcher and also dean of the Economics and Management School at Inner Mongolia University, said the study found Chinese women are spending more time at home and less time working, a trend also observed in South Korea and Japan.
