《不称职的骑士》

Nasim是一个骑士，但是他不喜欢打仗，喜欢读书写作和织东西。有一天国王叫他跟一条龙战斗，他却胜利了，他是怎么把龙赶走的呢？

Nasim was aknight. 纳西姆是一名骑士。

But he didn'tlike to ride and he didn't like to fight.

但是他不喜欢骑马，也不喜欢打仗。

Nasim liked toread and write, and he liked to knit.

纳西姆喜欢阅读和写作，他还喜欢织东西。

One night, therewas a knock at the door.

一天晚上，有人敲门。

"I need youto fight a dragon!" cried King Kareem.

“我需要你去和一条龙作战！” 卡里姆国王喊道。

"But I'mthe wrong kind of knight!" said Nasim. " I don't like fighting!"

“但我是个不称职的骑士！” 纳西姆说，“我不喜欢打仗！”

"Nevermind!" cried the king.

“不要紧！” 国王喊道，“快点儿！”

" Thedragon is in my bed!" said the king.

“那条龙在我的床上！” 国王说。

Nasim's knees were knocking.

He lifted the blanket and saw...

纳西姆的膝盖打颤。

他揭开毯子，看见...

a tiny dragon.

一条小龙。

The dragon'sknees were knocking too.

"I'mfreezing," he said.

小龙的膝盖也在打颤。

“我快冻僵了。” 他说。

" Fighthim!" cried the king.

“打他！” 国王喊道。

"No. I'mthe wrong kind of knight," said Nasim, and he began to knit.

“不行啊， 我是个不称职的骑士。” 纳西姆说完开始织起了东西。

Nasim was veryquick at knitting. He knitted a vest, some socks and some long knickers.

纳西姆织得非常快。他织了一件背心、一双袜子和一条短裤。

The dragon wasdelighted. " Thank you!" he said, and off he went.

小龙很高兴。“谢谢你！” 小龙说完就走了。

" I thinkyou were the right kind of knight!" said the king.

“我认为你是个很称职的骑士！” 国王说。
