and explain why you want to learn it.

When it comes to a new skill I want to learn, I will choose driving, which is a
practical skill that I will use almost every day in the future.

As an 18-year-old, I rea lly want to have the experience of driving a car, and I
am fed up with having to walk or take the bus or train whenever I wanted to
go somewhere. I also know that driving will be an extremely useful skill in
the future.

I guess I have to learn to drive a car by taking lessons. Since I am still a
student, I may ask my parents for the training fee to have lessons with a
professional driving instructor. To tell you the truth, both of my parents are
very good drivers, so I suppose they will definitely help me with it. I know I
have to practice a lot in order to get the license quickly. I believe my mom
will urge me to do so.

Being able to drive will absolutely help me in so many ways. The public
transport where I live isn't very good, so I travel to work by bus, which is
super crowded. So, having a car will surely make my life much easier when it
comes to things like shopping, traveling or visiting family and friends. (218)
