独-立-日演讲——背水一战，向死而生

Good morning. In less than an hour, aircrafts from here will join others from around the world and you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today.

早上好。在不到一小时内，这里的飞机将与世界各地的飞机联合起来，发动人类历史上规模最大的空战。人类，这个词对我们今天的所有人来说有了新的涵义。

We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united by our common interest. Perhaps it's fate that today is 4th of July and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression or persecution, but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live, to exist.

我们不能再为小事自相残杀，要为共同利益团结一致。也许天意如此，今天是7月4日美国独立日，你们将再次为我们的自由而战，而不是为了反抗暴政，压迫或迫害，是避免被从消灭，为生存而战。 我们正在为我们生活的权利而战，为了生存。

And should we win the day, the fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declare in one voice we will not go quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight, we are going to live on, we are going to survive! Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!

如果我们今天能够赢得胜利，七月四日不再是美国的假日，而是世人宣誓之日，我们不会束手就擒，我们不会任人宰割，我们要继续生活，我们要渡过难关！今天，我们庆祝我们的独立纪念日！
