相互代词就是 each other 和 one another，意思都是“彼此，相互”。

一、用法

1. each other 是两者之间的相互关系；one another 是三者或三者以上之间的相互关系。

2. each other 和 one another 只是宾格形式，即在句中只能充当宾语，不能充当主语。

3. each other 和 one another 都有所有格形式，记为 each other's 和 one another's，即“彼此的”。

二、another, the other(s), other(s)的用法

1. another 意思是“三者或三者以上中的另一个”，或“数量范围不明确时的另一个”。举例：

One is cleaning the window, one is sweeping the floor, and another is dusting the desks. 一个人在擦玻璃，一个人在扫地，另一个人在擦桌子。

2. the other(s) 意思是“其他（的）”，有三种情况：

（1）the other 是名词属性。只能与 one 连用，且数量范围必须是两个。举例：

He has two sisters. One is six years old, and the other is eight years old. 

（2）the other 是形容词属性，修饰名词。可以与 some 连用，数量范围必须固定。举例：

There are 15 students in my class. Some are from Japan, some are from Korea, and the other ones are from China. 

（3）the others 只有名词属性，相当于 the other + 名词，可以与 some 连用，且数量范围必须固定，如上句中 the other ones 可以改为 the others。

3. other(s) 意思也是“其他（的）”，用法如下：

（1）与 the other 相比，other 只有形容词属性，没有名词属性。可以与 some 连用，但数量范围不确定。举例：

Some students like painting, some like swimming, and other ones like singing and dancing. 

（2）others 只有名词属性，相当于 other + 名词，可以与 some 连用，但数量范围不确定，如上句中 other ones 可以改为 others。
